Last night I went to dinner with a business associate and his wife down here in New Orleans. We went to to this wonderful open air oyster bar right off of Bourbon Street. As we were sitting there, talking business, having a few beers, and eating raw oysters a wedding party came down the street in several horse drawn carriages. As the procession passed I happened to make eye contact with this pretty girl in the last carriage. We both smiled and I kind of waved at her. Next thing I know she pulls off these beads from around her neck and throws them over several patrons sitting outside eating and through the open window of the restaurant to me.
It honestly couldn’t have been a better throw and the business associate kept telling me how impressed he was with my catch.
It’ll probably be one of those stories that comes up every time he comes in town.
