Yesterday during lunch I took a sport coat to Men’s Warehouse to have some alterations done. As I was pulling up, I noticed this young couple walking in. At first glance I could tell they were a little rough looking, but then I saw that the girl didn’t have on any shoes. It was then that I realized that they were just dirty.
I know that times are tough and not everyone has a lot of money, but to go into a store (specifically a men’s dress apparel store) barefoot is another thing all together. Surely, she could afford some $5 Old Navy flip-flops.
As for the guy she was with; at some point did he not think to mention to her that perhaps she might want to put some shoes on? Doesn’t he know she can catch worms like that? Gross!
Some people amaze me.
FYI: The young couple was at Men’s Warehouse to pick out tuxedos for their upcoming wedding.
