The Cough of Death

Last week I had bronchitis. It was no big deal; I just felt like crap and coughed a lot. I’d say right now I’m 90% over it though. I just have a small residual cough and a little bit of a runny nose.

Today this guy I work with heard me coughing and said I still didn’t sound very good. He then told me I probably have AIDS* and I should get that checked out.

Yeah that just happened.

*Note: I have been tested and I do not have AIDS and/or any other sexually transmitted diseases.

You should have heard the kid – he was all Tom Hanks for the movie “Philadelphia”. It was so bad, they moved Blake into an office of his own where they could disinfect the stuff he touched. Just ask him!? He always spins the stories his way, but in the shadows lie the true.
