For a while now I’ve increasingly become more and more intolerable of this mole I have on my forehead. I doubt many people have really even noticed it, but it’s finally gotten to the point where it’s driving me crazy.

Hopefully on Monday I can make an appointment to have it removed ASAP.
Fun Fact: This will actually be the second mole I’ve had removed from my face. The first was on my right cheek. I had it removed when I was in seventh grade because I hated it too. Oddly enough the mole on my forehead was only a big freckle at the time.
Here’s a link to some interesting mole information. Also there’s a gross picture of a mole on there as well.

Last Saturday Kati, Chad, and I ran in the annual “I Run For The Party 5k”. While it wasn’t our best time, it was still a lot of fun. Plus the bonus this year was that they gave you unlimited free beer and mixed drinks. Yeah I know, 5k + alcohol = bad combination. But surprisingly it works out well.
Since Chad is a huge University of Tennessee fan he suggested that we all sport some Big Orange apparel.

Then because odd things just happen to me, after the race was over, we went into a bar to cool off and check some college football scores. When we walked through the door every head in the place turned and looked at us. The bartender was laughing and shaking his head. I couldn’t help but feel like it was something out of a bad dream.
It was then that I turned around and saw this huge sign above the door that read, “Official LSU Alumni Tiger’s Den”.
Needless to say we didn’t stick around in there too long.

Every week the taco bell next to my office building puts on their sign:
Our Champion of
The Week Is
So and So
This week their champion is David.
I often find myself looking at this sign each week and thinking, “Congratulations David. You are a Champion!”

Yesterday morning while listening to the radio I heard them ask, “What was the Unabomber’s real name?”
When I called and it rang right away and a woman answered the phone and said, “What cha got?”
To which I replied, “Uhh Ted Kaczynski”
And sure enough I won tickets to see Colin Hay next week at the Wild Horse.
The funny thing is that I didn’t even know what I was trying to win. I just knew the answer to the question and I called. When she told me what my prize was I actually had to look the guy up. Apparently he’s the lead singer for the 80’s band, Men At Work (they sing that song, “Land Down Under”).

I was registering for a 5k today and one of the questions on the registration form was, “Do you love life?”
Since I find it difficult to lie to online registration forms, I answered, “Sometimes”.

Today I came home from work and walked into the bathroom and immediately knew something was different. After looking around for a bit I noticed that our shower-head had been changed. I then checked the other bathroom. Different shower-head there too. Also, all the sinks had different nozzles on them as well.
No note from the apartment people, no heads up, no nothing. They just came in and changed things.
While I’m sure that the new shower-heads are nice, still they took the $5 European water-saving shower-head I had on there.

This morning I sent out cancellation notices for the wedding; or as I like to call them, “Anti-Invitations”.

Yesterday, in the restroom at work, I saw a really tall man standing in front of the mirror sticking a Q-tip up his nose. While I realize how one would assume this might be a good idea, I don’t think it would work like this guy was hoping.
