For weeks now the coffee pot in my office has randomly been filling itself up to the brim. By filling itself up, I mean we’ll make a pot of coffee, drink several cups, and come back and it will be more full of coffee than it was when we first made it. This oddity of a malfunctioning coffee pot has cause quite a stir among a few people, including myself. No one seemed to understand how this was happening. The coffee pot is a simple machine; it shouldn’t just randomly fill itself up with more coffee.
Yesterday, right after another miracle of resurrecting coffee, we were all talking about it again and I just happened to say something about it to this guy who works here. He then replied nonchalantly, “Yeah it’s always full because I’ve been filling it up with water. I’ve just been doing it to mess with you guys.”
Once I processed what he said and all the pieces came together, I couldn’t stop laughing at the absurdity of it. He seriously has been messing with us for weeks and we had no idea.
That’s some serious commitment.

The worst part of this is that HE’S BEEN WATERING DOWN YOUR COFFEE.
