I was only joking yesterday when I wrote that we might win a honeymoon or two. Man were we surprised when Heather actually won THREE!
Well to be truthful, it was actually just two honeymoons and one trip, but here’s a quick breakdown:
- Trip 1: 4 days 3 nights all inclusive stay in St. Lucia
- Trip 2: 3 days 2 nights all inclusive stay in our choice of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, or Mexico.
- Trip 3: 3 days 2 nights in our choice of 1 out of 17 cities in the United States or 1 out of 5 cities in Mexico or 1 out of 3 cities in Canada.
Now we’re trying to figure out what our best options are and what stipulations are involved. As snotty as it sounds, it’s actually kind of stressful winning stuff.

Today Heather and I are going to Nashville convention center for a bridal show. While I realize that this is more of a girl thing and I’m probably going to be bored out of my mind, I’m making sure to take a pen for all the registering of door prizes. I hear there is a possibility of wining a honeymoon or two.
Also they’re giving away free cake.

Well… The site is coming back together slowly, but it’s getting there. I should have everything up and running smoothly by this weekend.

The other day I was just about out of gas when the power went off in town. While the power didn’t stay off for long, I came to the realization that I have no contingency plan in the event that something really bad happens. I came to this conclusion after driving my car on fumes to three gas stations and seeing each of the clerks freak out because their systems have no way of selling/pumping gas when the power goes out.
Perhaps coming up with a plan to get to/contact my family in an emergency wouldn’t be such a bad idea.

Although I still don’t have everything working properly, I really like this new blogging software that I’ve installed on my website. It’s extremely easy to use, unlike the previous software that I had installed on here.
At least now I’ll have a chance to move some things around. Just bear with me as I continue to trudge around here, making a mess.

Somehow I thought that cleaning up my site would be a good idea. Now that everything is busted, I see that perhaps it wasn’t as smart as I thought it was.
Perhaps I can get it running again in the next couple of days.

If you have a few minutes to kill, I found this website: http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/lists/.
It’s full of random information you may find interesting.

Because I have a Gap credit card, I sometimes get special promotions for Old Navy (they’re the same company). Well just the other day I got this thing in the mail from Old Navy that said I could take 20% off my entire purchase if I used my Old Navy/Gap credit card.
“What a good deal”, we thought, and off we went.
When we got to Old Navy, we realized that they were selling their already discounted clearance section at 50% off. An hour of shopping later and I had a track jacket, a pair jeans, and three t-shirts. Heather had three tank tops, two pairs of linen capris, and a sports bra.
After our 20% discount we ended up leaving with two bags full of clothes and only spending $40 and some change.

My friend Joy sent me this game the other day.

(Note: For some reason this link is trying to kill me. Because I can’t get it to work correctly, you’ll just have to copy and paste it into your browser.)
Since then I can’t stop playing it.
Who would have ever thought that learning geography could be so much fun?

Not the guy directly across the hall, but the guy who lives to the right of him (if that makes sense) is such a weirdo. I’ve seen him purposely wait around in the parking lot, pretending to get something out of his car, when I walking in and out of my apartment just to avoid walking by me. While I thought this behavior was strange, I didn’t pay it any real attention.
Then the other day I was coming back from the pool and I noticed him coming out of his apartment. This jerk locked his door, turned, saw me, unlocked his door, went back in his apartment really fast, and shut the door. I imagined that he probably sat there looking out of the peephole until I went into my apartment.
I decided to not mess with him and stare at his door when I walked by.
So if your keeping track, the two people at the top of the stairs (this weirdo and the Asian lady) are a bunch of freaks. Good thing I have to walk by their doors to get to my car.
