Heather and I just watched “160 lb. Tumor” on TLC. I have to admit that it was a pretty gross show. Although its fantastic that this lady was able to get her huge tumor removed, I don’t see how she could have let it get that big. I’m the type of guy that’s going to get a tumor removed ASAP. At the very latest, I might wait until its a pound, maybe two.

I just keep seeing this scenario played out in my head.

Day One
Tumor woman’s husband: “Honey, I think you may have a tumor. You want to see about getting it removed?”
Tumor woman: “Nah I’ll get it looked at later.”

Year One
Tumor woman’s husband: “Honey, your tumor is about the size of a basketball, let’s go see about getting it removed.”
Tumor woman: “Nah, I’ve got some more important things to do. I’ll get it taken care of later.”

Year Two
Tumor woman’s husband: “Honey, your tumor weighs more than you. I don’t think that you’re going to be able to get that removed.”
Tumor woman: “Crap!”
