Yesterday I raced home from work to take my required test for graduation. When I got there (right at test time) I noticed that my name wasn’t on the sign in sheet. A little confused, I asked the lady what deal-io was. She told me that she had just found out today that students graduating in August were not required to take the test and that I could just go home.
I kind of stood there for a minute with my mouth hanging open, dumbstruck by what I had just heard.
She then hands me a card and asks me to call the number of the testing office this morning “just to double check” what she was saying was correct.
I could only turn and walk away…
I ended up leaving from the testing and going straight to the Rec. Center. I ran four miles so it wasn’t a total loss.
