MTSU = Morons

I found out today from some people in my class that I’m required to take two specific tests before I can graduate. Since I’m graduating in the summer I was under the impression that I had awhile before I needed to start worrying about them.

I’m lucky that I brought it up, because I was then told that I had to take these tests this semester or I wouldn’t be able to. The people in my class then asked me why I didn’t know all this; it was in an email that was sent out.

I don’t normally check my school email. It’s always empty and if I do get something, it’s a complete waste of time to read it. However, after hearing that a message that could play an important role in my college graduation could be waiting in my inbox, I ran to a computer ASAP.

This is the best part.

I checked my email at about 3:00. Lucky me, there was a message that read, “Important Graduation Testing”. For whatever reason, I happened to notice that the email was sent today at 2:06. This was an important fact because on the last line of the email were 2 times on 3 days that I could take the test. The first time was today at 1:00!

Good thing I got the email about the testing a whole ONE HOUR AND SIX MINUTES after the 1st test began! Seriously, what if that had been the only time I could have taken this stupid test?

MTSU did crap like this to me when I 1st transferred there. They eased up on the incompetence for awhile, but now I can see that getting my diploma may be hell.

Blake, that’s an all too familar story to me. I had to take my exit exams the semester before I graduated because I was in NC my last semester. I found this out after the exams were over and immediately called to find out what to do. It just happened that that night was the last night of make-up tests for those who missed them. I barely made it. I would have been so mad if I couldn’t graduate or if I had to come back from NC to take those stupid tests. URGH! I feel your pain.
