You know why most people don’t generally say they want to be painters when they grow up? It’s because it’s hard tedious work. It’s boring, you get really messy, and you ruin you pants. Also it’s a scientific fact that time slows down when you’re painting. No matter if you’ve been doing it for 2 hours or 10 it always feels like twice that amount. So while you’re busy working your butt off painting, time has slowed down for you and the whole rest of the world is rapidly going by. The lesson to learn here is, if you want to really live a long life you should be a painter. You won’t be happy but you may live forever.
Point: The reason I’m saying all this is because I spent a few hours today painting a retaining wall at the local boys and girls club. Today was the “day of caring” for my department. That means this is the day where were go and help the community.
